2015 GHANA INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR

THE 19TH GHANA INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR-FEBRUARY 26th -MARCH 8th, 2014
The Ghana Trade Fair Co. Ltd will hold the 19th Ghana International Trade Fair (19th GITF) from February 26th through to march 8th, 2015 at the Ghana International Trade Fair Centre La-Accra
The special theme for the 19th GITF: Trade –The Bridge for Industry and Research, will seek to highlight on exhibition as the bridge for research to thrive, to drive Ghana’s industry towards economic growth. The Expo will showcase Ghana’s research progress over a wide spectrum of products and services.
Ghana Trade Fair usually organized this fair under the auspices of Ministry of Trade and Industry and in collaboration with Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
The Expo provides the platform for Ghanaians and their foreign counterparts to do business. Several activities have been planned for the fair, including conferences/seminars country days, B2B sessions, family and entertainment areas.
Trade fairs play an indispensable role in business networking vis-à-vis traditional forms of international cooperation.
The exhibition is expected to bring together some six hundred 600 businesses from Ghana and several other countries, notably China, Turkey, Spain, Italy, India, Syria, Pakistan, South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Benin and many countries from the rest of the world.
Three pavilions and with specialized floor plan are reserved for the Fair. They are Pavilion A (A wings), Pavilion B (B wings) and a fully air-conditioned Mobile Pavilion.
Pavilion A is designated for Local participation, concentration on Made in Ghana goods and services, research and educational institution, ministries and agencies to make their service known to the public. While Pavilion B is allocated for Exhibitors/companies from the ECOWAS sub-region, and countries across the globe cutting across all product line.
Target Visitation - the general public, businessmen and women seeking to meet business partners, Students at all levels, families and holiday-makers.
The two weekends, and the Independence day (6th March) during the fair period are considered a peak and entertainment days. Suffice to say, it’s a time where we experience improved visitation by patrons, and as such we plug in entertainment programs on these days.
A very significant point worth noting is the selection of Guest Country. A guest country has the potential of encouraging companies from their country to participate for the fair.
The Guest country would be outdoored at a special press briefing before the start of the fair.
We also make good use of High Commissions and Embassies in Ghana in other that they can encourage business/trade association in their country to showcase one-of-a-kind products and services that companies in their home countries have competitive advantage in the production.
